FUTA Vice Chancellor Receives Champion Debaters
The trophy won by students who represented FUTA at the All Nigeria Universities Debating Championship has been presented to the Vice Chancellor, Professor Adebiyi Daramola. Presenting the Trophy to the Vice-Chancellor, Head of Delegation, Dr. (Mrs.) Funmi Olabode-Sawe appreciated the Vice-Chancellor for his support, at all times, noting that the university came third in the final classification.Receiving the Laurels the Vice-Chancellor eulogized the students for making FUTA proud and show casing the institution as the best University with outstanding students. Daramola encouraged the students not to rest on their oars but continue to aspire for greater heights, affirming that the University will not relent at giving its support.
While Adeola Alle of Urban and Regional Planning Department and Olaniregun Olajide of Transport Management Department represented FUTA at the competition which took place at the Covenant University, Ota, Ogun State Dr Mrs. Olabode Sawe emerged the overall best adjudicator. Dr Adebayo Emmanuel and Mr. Peter Oluborode also accompanied the team as officials.
