This announcement comes days after Davido took to instagram to celebrate his father, Chief Adeleke, revealing that over 100 students who recently graduated from the billionaire’s privately owned- Adeleke University were on various scholarship programmes sponsored by the older Adeleke.
“Too proud of my father,” God bless you for all of us, sir. Love you too much!” Davido had remarked when he shared the news.

JAMB UTME Invalid e-Pins, Causes And Solutions

The attention of the Joint Admission Matriculation Board [JAMB] has been drawn to cases of candidates who have bought ePINS and were not able to proceed with their registration.
The board has therefore stated the possible reasons for the cause of invalid e-Pin after Pin Vending, they are listed below

B. CAUSES OF THE JAMB UTME INVALID E-PINS

  • A very high rate of candidates buying ePINS without creating their profile first.
  • Incorrect email address provided at the bank teller.
  • Recent enforcement of email validation of candidates emails. Candidates who have not created their profile properly would be affected.
  • Unforeseen technical issues in the PIN vending system.

C. SOLUTIONS TO THE JAMB UTME INVALID E-PINS

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board JAMB hereby advises all candidates to note the following 
  • Candidates are NOT to buy new pins in the case of invalid pins. The cause of the invalid pin has been investigated
  • All candidates having invalid pins responses av been captured on d system and will receive their PIN details on or before Monday 27th March,2017
  • Emails with candidate name, email and valid pins will be sent to candidates before Monday 27th March 2017.

D. MEASURES TAKEN BY THE BOARD TO PREVENT INVALID E-PINS

JAMB therefore has taken the following steps to ensure the continuation of the registration process.
  • All candidates MUST create their profiles b4 proceeding to buy d ePIN. D ePIN vendors (Banks) can create d profile before vending the pin.
  • Each candidate’s email address will now be verified on the system before ePINS are vended.
  • Any candidate with an incorrect email address will not be served. It therefore requires entering the same valid email address twice.
  • All candidates are to ensure that they provide valid phone numbers.
  • Candidates are encouraged to utilize only Jamb accredited Centers 

E.  WARNING TO ALL APPLICANTS

  • No one should patronize fraudsters, many of whom are now in Police custody. Only CBT Centres accredited by JAMB can do valid registration.

Question:I received the following message: “Error 404 while trying to install the  JAMB Registration Application”. What do I do? 
Answer: Confirm the URL address as http://www.jamb.org.ng/installer/install.htm

2.  Question: I don’t have an access code, what do I do? 
Answer:Check the administrator’s email provided and also check the spam folder in  your  Mailbox.  If  not  found,  send  your  correct  email  address  to  the  JAMB Zonal/State Coordinator in your State.



3.  Question: I received the following message: “Invalid Access Code”, what do I do? 
Answer:Uninstall the JAMB Registration Application, Re-download and Re-install. 

4.  Question:  I  received  the  following  message,  “You  are  running  this  application
from an unauthorized Location”, what do I do? 
Answer:  Make sure you are on the Network provided by JAMB i.e. using the SIM card provided. 
5.  Question:  I  received  the  following  message,”  Access  code  supplied  invalid  or
system not recognized”, what should I do? 
Answer:  Re-launch  the  application  and  the  access  code  on  the  FIRST  SYSTEM (admin system) that you used. Once this is done successfully, you can proceed to add other systems via the admin system (THE FIRST SYSTEM).

JAMB UTME Access Code Installation Guidelines For [Approved CBT Center Owners]

The Joint Admission Matriculation Board [JAMB] has released guidelines for the installation of the UTME Access Code to all respective CBT Center owners.
The Installation is quite easy and the procedures have been outline below: 

JAMB UTME INSTRUCTIONS ON ACCESS CODE INSTALLATION

1. First Install the Registration application on the new machine.
  • Run the JAMB Registration Application.
  • It will prompt you to key in your access code
  • At this point, wait! Do not key in the access code.
  • Note the system ID on that system. [if possible copy it down]

2. Go back to the Admin system, launch the Application and GOTO System Management.

Click on Manage Systems. 


Type in the system ID of the new system and SAVE.

Go back to the new System and insert the access code

Sign in with the general username and password (Not SuperUser)
All should be fine now.

NOTE:
  • The Admin System (refers to the first system) you keyed in the Access code.
  • This system can add other systems in the centre.
  • This system creates the username and password for that centre (SuperUser).
  • Then create a general user which will be used on the other machines.

JAMB 2017 UTME Registration: Important Information For Candidates Having Issues

The attention of the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board, JAMB has been drawn to cases of candidates who have bought ePINS and were not able to proceed with their registration due to invalid email addresses or ePINS.
This was caused essentially by:

(v) Unforeseen technical issues in the PIN vending system.

JAMB hereby advises all candidates as follows:

ACU SIWES Programme Notice To All 300L Students

300 Level students on SIWES programme during the second semester will henceforth be exempted from paying hostel accommodation fees. On no account should the students be allowed into the hostels.



The students must however pay their fees and register for the second semester of the session.

The SIWES period should be reflected on the University Calendar.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

I. 4 Year Programme for Direct Entry 

a. Passes at credit/merit level in two subjects at the NCE and credit passes in (five) 5 subjects at GCE O)Level including English language or its equivalent at not more than two sittings. A passel the NCE General English is acceptable in lieu of a credit pass at theSSCE/GCEO/Level.


b. Three (3) passes at GCE Advanced Level plus credit passes in five (5) other subjects at GCE/OLevel or SSCE Nursing and Midwifery Certificate together with five (5) 0/Level credit passes including English language for B.Sc in Physic Health Education. Nursing and Midwifery Certificate plus Post-Nursing Diploma with Credit passes in five (5) 0/Level subjects including English language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings is acceptable for B.Sc (Ed) Health Education.

II. 5-Year Programme in any of A to C except Educational Management 

a. Passes in two major subjects in the NCE plus credit passes in five (5) subjects at GCE 0/Level or its equivalent. A pass at the NCE General English is acceptable in lieu of credit pass at the SSCECCE 0/Level English.

b. Passes at atdit/merit level in two major subjects of the Associate Diploma in Education with GCE O/Level credit passes or its equivalent in five (5) subjects at not more than two sittings.

c. National Diploma with credit/merit passes in relevant subjects plus credit passes in five (5) GCE 0/Level subjects at not more than two sittings.

d. Passes at credit level in five (5) subjects including English Language and Mathematics at the GCE 0/Level with any of the following is acceptable for Computer Science Education:
i. Diploma in Data Processing from recognized Universities.
ii. ND (ComputerScience).

e. Nursing and Midwifery Certificate together with O/Level credit passes in five (5) other subjects is acceptable for the BSc (Ed) in Physical and Health Education. The NABTEB credit/merit passes in five (5) subjects together with the Advanced Level NABTEB Certificate in any two (2) subjects is acceptable for the B.Sc (Ed) Technical Education.

III 6 Years Programme in any of A to C 

a. Passes at credit level in five (5) subjects including English Language in WASSCE/GCE/O/Level at not more than two sittings.

b. A credit pass in Mathematics is compulsory for all B.Sc (Ed) Science courses.

c. Five credit passes in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics in NABTEB is acceptable for the B.Sc Ed) Technical Education.

IV. POSTGRADUATE DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION (PGDE) 

a. Candidates with Third Class at the first degree in the Ms, Sciences or Social Sciences from an approved University are eligible for admission.
b. HND with Credit/Merit passes in relevant teaching subjects.

V. MASTERS' DEGREE (M.Ed) PROGRAMMES

Admission Requirements 

The following constitute the minimum entry requirements in the Postgraduate Programmes:

All applicants seeking admission into any of the Master's Degree and Postgraduate Diploma Programmes must have five credit passes at O'Level in relevant subjects including English Language and Mathematics at not more than two sittings. A pass at the NCE General English is acceptable in lieu of a Credit pass at SSCE/GCE/O-level. 

VI. METHOD OF APPLICATION 

Application fee for M.Ed or PGDE: N16,000.00 (Sixteen Thousand Naira only).
Application fee for Undergraduate: N6.000.00 (SixThousand Naha only).
I. Log on to the University website: www.eksu.edu.ng or sandwich.eksu.ng
2. Navigate to Sandwich Portal: sandwich.eksu.ng
3. Click on 2017 undergraduate form (for undergraduate programmes) or 2017 Postgraduate form (for Postgraduate Programmes).
4. Supply the basic information required.
5. Pay the sum of N6,000 (undergraduate) or N16.000 (Postgraduate) via the use of ATM card (verve or master only).
6. Upon successful transaction Print an online receipt containing the confirmation code and supply the Receipt Number and Confirmation Code in the online receipt printed to access the form.
7. Complete the Application form online and print a copy.
8. Submit a copy of the Application form with the photocopies of your credentials at the Sandwich Programmes Office Irasa, Ado-Ekiti not later than 1st week in April every year.

According to a statement signed by the Chairman of the Commission, Mustaph Sulaiman, the interview will continue daily in line with the timetable prepared by the commission.

Ajayi Crowther University, Important Notice To All Students

The Vice Chancellor of the Ajayi Crowther University has issued an important notice to all the students of the institution on the use of Phones in Chapel Services & Latest Date for Resumption to Students Still out of Campus.

  • The use of phones and mobile gadgets by students in Chapel services is hereby prohibited. Student’s found defaulting will have their phones confiscated in addition to other disciplinary measures.
  • Students who are yet to resume for the 2nd Semester will have marks deducted from their Character Code for every chapel service missed and days of lectures missed.

  • Students who still haven’t resumed by April 2nd will have the gates of the University shut against them and would not be allowed entry into the University. They will be deemed to have absented themselves for the semester. Parents and Students should take note.
  • There shall be no Easter break. All students are advised to remain on campus. This decision is based on the opinion of the Parents and Sponsors Forum as well as in view of the fact that the 2nd semester has just commenced.

JAMB Pin Vending Procedures & List Of Authorized Banks For Sales Of Form

Its no longer news that the Joint Admission Matriculation Board ha adopted the Pin Vending Method for the 2017/18 UTME Sales of form nationwide.

Many students until now is yet to understand what JAMB Meant by pin vending and has kept asking us that question time without number.

Candidates are to note that Pin Vending was introduced after the scrapping of scratch Cards.

Today we decided to walk all students through on what actually the pin vending means and list of banks authorized for the pin vending.

JAMB Pin Vending is a process whereby students wishing to register for the examinations make an online payment and get a pin with which they can upload their data.

This new pin vending can be accessed through the options of web payment, ATM issued cards like Visa, Verve, and Mastercard, online Quick Teller, mobile application and Bank Branch case/card.

NOTE: The payment platform for UTME Registration is through PIN vending. Not Remitta. Please do not pay through Remitta



The Examination Board has also listed few banks authorized for the pin vending, they include:

NOTE: Banks can also help you with the whole registration process!!!
