
On Saturday, a 25-year-old newly sworn-in doctor, Fathia Ayodele Kareem, made history at the 23rd Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) School of Medical Sciences oath swearing and induction ceremony in Kumasi, Ghana.

Fathia set a new record as the best graduating student, taking home a dozen out of 15 awards available. Her record becomes the highest in the 41-year establishment of the KNUST Medical School. She hopes to specialize in the field of pediatrics/child care. .

When asked if she expected to get the number of awards, she said: “Yes and No. Yes because I worked hard by studying, and no because I did not expect to receive these number of awards.”…. as d skool no b Unilag….
