Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the posts of Associate Professor, Senior Lecturer, Lecturer 1 and Assistant Lecturer in the following Departments:
1. Faculty of Education
a) Department of Education
i) Foundations Unit
ii) English Education Unit

2. Faculty of Humanities
a) Department of History and International Studies
b) Department of Islamic Studies
c) Department of Languages
i) Arabic Unit
ii) English Unit
iii) Hausa Unit
3. Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences
a) Department of Biological Sciences
b) Department of Chemistry
c) Department of Mathematics and Computer Science
i) Mathematics Unit
ii) Computer Science Unit

Qualifications and Salary Grades
i) Associate Professor – CONUASS 06
Candidates seeking appointment as Associate Professor must have;
i) a Doctorate degree in the relevant field,
ii) a minimum of ten (10) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals published by reputable publishers,
iii) a minimum of four (4) Academic Conference/Seminar papers, and
iv) a minimum of nine (9) years of University teaching and research experience.
ii) Senior Lecturer – CONUASS 05
Candidates seeking appointment as Senior Lecturer must have;
i) a Doctorate degree in the relevant field,
ii) a minimum of five (5) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals published by reputable publishers, and
iii) a minimum of six (6) years of University teaching experience.
iii) Lecturer 1 – CONUASS 04
Candidates seeking appointment as Lecturer I must have;
i) a Doctorate degree in the relevant field,
ii) a minimum of three (3) scholarly publications in peer-reviewed journals published by reputable publishers, and
iii) a minimum of three (3) years post-qualification experience.
iv) Assistant Lecturer – CONUASS 02
Candidates seeking appointment as Assistant Lecturer must have an Academic Master’s Degree in the relevant field.
Remuneration
The salaries and other conditions of service are similar to what obtains in the Nigerian University System. Placement of the successful candidates would be on enhanced steps within the appropriate CONUASS grade as an incentive.

Applicant are to request their referees to send a confidential Report on them directly to the Registrar, Sule Lamido University, Kafin Hausa before the deadline.

Interested candidates should submit twelve (12) copies each of their application letter and comprehensive Curriculum Vitae attaching copies of relevant credentials under confidential cover in an envelope sealed and marked POST of ASSOCIATE PROFESSOR/SENIOR LECTURER/LECTURER I/ASSISTANT LECTURER, as appropriate, on the top right corner and addressed to:
